Acrylics with Washi paper on canvas
30 x 40″sq

Note by the Artist

When walking along the shore, I find glass that’s rounded from being tumbled in the beach stones and surf to create a translucent “jewel in the rough” appearance in different shades and colors. My favorite color, is the shade of green, that really reminds me of the colors from the 1930’s and 40’s. I wanted to use that theme in a very visually floating effect.
The entire Gallery canvas is covered in Japanese handmade Washi paper and painted with acrylics and flows gracefully over the sides.
